This simulation of the Hodgkin-Huxley equations is a simple model of a neuron, based on code I wrote in graduate coursework at Princeton. By adding current or setting a voltage clamp, you can observe the predictions this simple model makes. This model includes terms for the sodium channel (m and h gates) and the potassium channel (n gate). In addition, it has a term for leak channels (which have relatively small conductance).
